A couple days ago, my friend told me that he just did charity to people in needs. I was quite surprised when I heard his story since I thought that he was the type of person who is reluctant with charity, give back or other social works. Because of my curiosity, I asked him to tell me the complete story of his charity a couple days ago and he agreed to tell me his story. He told me that he didn’t do charity like distributing foods and milks to homeless street children, teaching street children how to spell words, help old people to walk and etc. What he did is to donate a car to a social organization.

That was actually my first time to hear about car donation. Since I had never heard about car donation before, I asked him about car donation. He told me that car donation is a type of charity where any people could donate his unused cars to help people in needs. Later, the car that has been donated to a charity organization will be sold and the profit will be used to help people in needs such as street children and homeless people. When I asked my friend about his reason to do car donation rather than money donation or some kind, he answered me that auto donations (car donation) is way easier and flexible.

He told me that he did have an unused and old car in his garage. He never ignited it nor drives it to the downtown for a while. He thought that selling the car could be troublesome so he thought that donating his unused car is the best idea for his unused and old car. If you have unused car that is rarely used or drove by you, donating that car is a very good idea to help people in needs.
