RP Sessions

Introduction

Our project here is to take serious Role-Playing Chat Sessions and turn them into fanfics! A chat session is basically a live fanfic being created by the chatters, and by modifying it just a little bit while keeping it intact can allow us to turn it into a story - also known as a fanfic. Whether it's an original RP session, or one from a single or even multi-RPGs, we'd like to develop a library devoted to RP Chat sessions.

All that is needed to produce a fanfic like this is three simple things:

1) The original chat itself - this could be a text file, a word document or a special program that comes with the chat that allows you to save the chat session.
2) The names of the chatters - we know that the logon name of the user is present, but we'd like to give proper credit to the users themselves. Of course, we also value your privacy, and you do not have to give us your name.
3) A basic summery of the chat session - Where is your world located? What are your characters stats, weapon, skills? Just a basic summery of each character, and a summery of the entire chat session. You can also include a beginning, and end session, or even a part dedicated to the narrator that perhaps wasn't originally with the RP Chat to give your story more detail. It's up to you.

Some time in the future, if this really takes off well. We'll have "scouts" go into RPG chat rooms (such as the ones at Yahoo!®), and with permission, take those chat sessions and turn them into fanfics.
